FOPE x Chronondo

Unique Beauty Made in Italy!

If you hear the word “Italy“, you may think of Pasta or Pizza, some of you might have the world’s most romantic city, Venice in mind. But the fashionistas would associate this country with high fashion brands e.g. Prada, Versace, Valentino, Missoni, Armani, Gucci, D&G or Prada and also high level luxury jewellers such as Bulgari, Damiani and Pomellato.

In this post I would like to introduce you with the joaillerie FOPE. I had the chance to get to know more about this goldsmith during the Patek Philippe exhibition at the jewelry Gadebusch in Cologne, Germany.

FOPE & Flex’it

FOPE is one of the oldest Italian jewelry houses dating back to 1929. This brand was founded by Umberto Cazzola in Vicenza. What you guys surely don’t know, Signore Cazzola was the schoolmate of Sotirio Bulgari, the founder of BULGARI.

The trade mark of this brand is the so called Flex’it technology, which was developed in the 1950s. This feature enables you to wear the rings and the bracelets easily without any lock or scroll. For this unique patented feature, the manufacture uses gold springs which make all of their collections flexible.

Their collections can be combined with any kind of watches – either sporty or classic. For this article I combined the 18 carat white & rosé gold bracelets with my classic Reverso Jaeger LeCoultre. What do you guys think? They look stunning, don’t they?

Nowadays, FOPE belongs definitely to one of the fine “joaillerie” 100% Made in Italy.
